Come on guys. This stuff is ridiculous--not to mention childish. What does SUSE have to do with Iraq??? Let's stay focused. I think it would be great if some of the disallusioned children went to Debian, BSD or something else so the suse linux community can stay positive and focused on making a better product instead of whining about political nonsense.
mmm there is one childish thing I really did. Forgetting that there are very good people working at SUSE[*] and well maybe they won't feel that comfort reading all this stuff passing on their heads. But SUSE *fortunately* is just a part of a larger community (that actually include as *contributors* Debian and *BSD and the people behind thousands of other projects) whose main target is writing free good quality software. Since the quality of what I have depends on SUSE's employees working conditions (including the freedom to decide what is the best code to solve a problem and the freedom to release that code to the community) I hope to them the best things on the move. The value of SUSE for us, not for Novell stock holders, is the quality of their developers and their commitment. The reactions you saw on the list as unfortunately emotional as they may seem are the evidence we really apreciate(d?) their work and are scared to miss its quality and the *symbiosis* with the rest of the Free Software community. [*] definitively one of the most fertile R&D in the Linux community
