I tried to run k3b and received an error message stating that growisofs was required. I would like to know how to load this file with zypper. Is there a way to see all packages that may be required by k3b, such ans codecs?
What did you try to run k3b on -- 13.2, Leap of Faith, Tumbleweed......what?

I was running 3.2, but executed k3b as root and did not have growisofs in my path. The cnf reminder on the previous post solved my problem.
Ah, OK -- and the problem has been solved. But I cannot help wondering why you would have run k3b as root -- just curious nothing more so don't have to answer it if you don't want to :-) ? When you run it as root you get the warning message, "It is not recommended to run k3b under the root user account. This introduces unnecessary security risks".
