The thing about NetWare 5 is that it does native IP instead of IPX. If you try to logon using IPX, NetWare has to translate IPX to IP again. You may want to try logging on using the 4.x client using IP. Rogier Jyry Kuukkanen wrote:
I've got connections to NW4 working just fine using IPX and NCP tools, but no success with NW5 - due to NDS crap and and new logon procedured.
Caldera has tools to do that (NW5 conn), but I didn't manage to get it working - neither under Suse 6.1 or 6.3. Novell has a NDS client for Linux, but it's at beta and not available to public. I wish Novell would just go away or at least evaporate, or go back to "file & print server only" thing.

Hello,
I've tried looking in documentation and online support pages, but I can't seem to find information on connecting a SuSE linux machine to a Netware server. Can someone tell me an easy way to do this, or point me in the right direction to get info on linux and Netware?
Thanks
