This module is compiled for kernel 2.6.37.1-1.2 which is original 11.4. Current kernel is 2.6.37.6-0.7 (command to see is "uname -r") and I've seen couple of people on IRC having problem with old kmp. It seems that you actually don't have new rpms. I don't know did they post new ones, as I use Nvidia installer script. Refresh Nvidia repo and check with YaST Software Management for newer versions, if there is none, then you can use: http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:NVIDIA_the_hard_way to solve the problem. Don't forget to remove nvidia-gfxG02-kmp-... before you run nvidia installer script.

Check with: lsmod | grep -i nouveau
... switch2nvidia command, ... head: cannot open `/etc/X11/xorg.conf' for reading: No such file or directory SaX2 generated xorg.conf not available!
But I thought SaX2 was dead.
Obviously "switch2nvidia" doesn't know about SaX2 and that "/etc/X11/xorg.conf" is not used, except in special cases.
