Is there a general description around somewhere of the various PostScript utilities such as pstops, psmerge, psselect, etc? I know I can read the individual man pages, but I'm looking for some unified description and a list of what utilities are available.
YaST ; Choose/Install Packages ; searchstring=`ps' ; F5 to search ; F2 for package descriptions. :)
Looks like a pseudo-solution to me <grin>.
Well, then, I guess my ideas are too simplistic for the likes of you... ;) I think that the PS document format is too old, and too widely implemented for someone to say, "Look! Here is the definitive guide to what PostScript is, what it does, and what you can do with it in the future." Old, as in lithographers have been using it for a considerable number of years; widely implemented as in used on everything from business cards to letterhead to billboards. If you want to see what's available, I'd say check freshmeat.net. If you want everything to be handed to you on a silver platter, buy a Macintosh ;). -- -=|JP|=- Jon Pennington | Atipa Linux Solutions -o) jpennington@atipa.com | http://www.atipa.com /\\ Kansas City, MO, USA | 816-241-2641 _\_V -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
