Hi Rajko, I ran the test upto 4 times and everything went smooth. Got a 32 bit system (P4, intel 865 chipset).
Thanks. By now I know that on 32 bit system, with default kernel and default nvidia driver it locks up too. It is better with xorg.conf from 10.2, so I have to see difference in used options, to see what driver module makes trouble.
The problem I have now is that the general lettertype went suddenly from a rather wide one to a narrow one I got in 10.2. Standard lettertype is "Sans serif". This type seems not to be installed on my system. I liked the wide one better. Any clues?
I don't know much about fonts, but if you suspect that fonts are missing please compare /usr/share/fonts for 10.2 and 10.3. That is directory that contains all installed fonts. I compared 2 of them: /usr/share/fonts/Type1 is the same, /usr/share/fonts/truetype there are some differences for instance DejaVuSerif-BoldItalic.ttf seems to be before DejaVuSerif-BoldOblique.ttf BTW, from other discussions here you can try to setup above mentioned DejaVu fonts. -- Regards, Rajko. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
