For those that are considering to switch to KDE:Distro:Factory, please keep in mind that this repo will be disabled for oS 13.1 as soon as the KDE 4.13 packages are available through KDE:Current. In first instance we will just disable the builds, however the packages itself will be deleted around 30 April. So if you are currently running KDE:Current it would be wise to wait just a little more than to switch repositories now.
So the upshot is that you really *don't want any users to help test new releases* because of the need to constantly be fiddling with repositories ?!? I applaud the creation of KDE:CURRENT. It greatly simplifies stuff. Why not consider the creation of KDE:NEXT for those of us that don't mind testing but find the problem of hacking our repository list tiresome and error prone? Like Current, Next would always remain the NEXT available release, and remain available, even for those periods where Current and Next are identical? -- _____________________________________ ---This space for rent--- -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
