I was running OSS 11.1 32 bit with KDE 4.1.3 -> 4.2.0 -> 4.2.1. I inadvertantly ran zypper up to try to get libqt4.5 to install a wifi plasmoid.
Not sure whether I understood you correctly, but if you want to use KDE 4.2 you should not use Qt 4.5. Hence if rpm -qa | grep libqt4 shows that you have 4.5 and not 4.4 installed, you should downgrade those. On 11.1 you do not need any extra repo for Qt, but just the Qt version that is supplied by the official update repo.
