Hi Simon,
you were faster than me - thx for this description.
Additionally I found out, that not only the different case of the files and directory names is a problem, but also different encoding of German umlauts between the dicomdir contents and the real files and directories 8-< And this second problem also hits Windows.
At the moment I'm experimenting with dcmmkdir to create a new dicomdir file from the contents of the DICOM directory:
dcmmkdir --input-directory ./DICOM --recurse --output-file dicomdir
I didn't succeed yet, but I am really close to a solution.
This is the reason, I didn't post my findings yet. I wanted to find a complete solution first.
Bye. Michael.
Oh, thats interresting if you find a working solution to generate a new dicomdir file, please post it here. simoN
