Sorry if I missed a subsequent post but when I look for the file
libdvdcss2-1.2.8-0.pm.2.nosrc.rpm
on the packman site it says,
"Now, the new copyright in germany is coming into force, it's no longer allowed to provide tools to breake technical protections. Therefore we can no longer provide libdvdcss, sorry. To give you the capability to watch DVD's on linux systems, we want make you the installation as easy as possible.
Download the libdvdcss tar.bz2-file in the same version as the nosrc.rpm from videolan, copy it to /usr/src/packages/SOURCES/, download the nosrc.rpm and compile the library using (rpm < 4) rpm --rebuild --target=i686 libdvdcss*.nosrc.rpm or (rpm >= 4) rpmbuild --rebuild --target=i686 libdvdcss*.nosrc.rpm. The final RPM's you can find in /usr/src/packages/RPMS/i686/, you can install it like every other RPM."
I don't get it. Can any one explain the above to me and where to find libdvdcss2-1.2.8-0.pm.2.nosrc.rpm
Ehh, Nick, I don't get what you mean ! The libdvdcss2-1.2.8-0.pm.2.nosrc.rpm download is just a little below the packman-text you are quoting above (behind the heading "Source Package"). Don't you see that on the website ? Greetings, -- Jan Elders Nuenen the Netherlands
