* Bob S. (usr@sanctum.com) [021029 21:37]: ->Hello SuSE users and apt-get experts. -> ->Just upgraded my apt-get to .54 version for an 8.0 box. Did an update, ->using Synaptic, and chose to upgrade 14 new KDE packages (3.04 from ->3.03) ->Packages downloaded OK When apt executed the rpm _U I received the ->following error code message. "Sub-process /bin/rpm returned n error ->code of 14" Tried to do the packages individually and the error ->code was "1". -> ->What's up? Has it something to do with the RPM3 vs 4 ? And, most of ->all how do I fix this? I ran into this issue. It was a hiccup in the rpm database. As root execute this... rpm --rebuilddb This most likely will fix your problem. Your mileage may very. If it doesn't fix it then post again and we'll try something else. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe..
