Hello SuSE users and apt-get experts. Just upgraded my apt-get to .54 version for an 8.0 box. Did an update, using Synaptic, and chose to upgrade 14 new KDE packages (3.04 from 3.03) Packages downloaded OK When apt executed the rpm _U I received the following error code message. "Sub-process /bin/rpm returned n error code of 14" Tried to do the packages individually and the error code was "1". What's up? Has it something to do with the RPM3 vs 4 ? And, most of all how do I fix this? Bob S.

Your mileage may very. If it doesn't fix it then post again and we'll try something else. -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe.. These errors are NOT apt related they are errors in RPM which is one of those silly applications that wasn't developed by SuSE ;) -- Ben Rosenberg ---===---===---===--- mailto:ben@whack.org Tell me what you believe..
