IMO, they would get more of that with the admin book included. More sales the better. This way, they will get mostly firstimers (repeaters will download) - and firstimers need manuals.

In my guess the current Novell Linux strategy is "the more publicity the better". And indeed they give away their good work for nothing currently, so there is only a small market for the box.
