I think Bruce is simply trying to remind you that
a) this is a member's list and SuSE employees do not necessarily monitor or respond to it, b) any response you get will come from people who have experienced a similar problem and resolved it or who are interested in the problem, c) in either of the cases in b) you may have to wait a while (read possibly a few days) because potential respondents may be on vacation, have a job, etc.
I think his comments arise from the fact that you have asked the same question

While this implies the problem is urgent for you, it is not urgent for some of the rest of us. In fact repeating the question so often so quickly, potentialy without regard for those of us who have dial-up or those of us who pay by the downloaded kB (many in Europe do), can be mis-interpreted as a very self-centered action.
That said - have you tried looking at http://www.OpenOffice.org for any advice?

Yes, I have been told it is a SuSE problem. Also, if it is not urgent for you then perhaps you could use your time to answer a question and really help someone. That would be more constructive than pointing out my imagined flaws. Perhaps one could even say of your actions, that they might be mis-interpreted as being very self-centered, detrimental, and potentialy without regard for those of us who have dial-up or those of us who pay by the downloaded kB (many in Europe do)! Your needless support of a dead subject and someone elses non productive comments has added to the bit overhead of those same users! So maybe you should "take your own medicine doctor" furthermore, if you have a problem with me or anyone else please ignore or filter. I mean one person not being helpful is enough. When another negetive individual insists on asisting that behaviour, it begs the question: "How effective would the two of you be at beating up old ladies?" Please the world does not revolve around your imagined morals. You will indeed never find me supporting or seconding anyones negative behavior and or comments on this or any other list. Others on this list have posted a question far more times than 4 in a 24 hour period, and taken up many, many bytes posting and responding to dead or over worked issues. So your problems lay elsewhere than with me. Maybe you should get a better ISP service contract. I will continue to ask questions on this list within reason regardless of socialist attitudes.
Wow.... you really have no clue (or manners) on dealing with a volunteer maillist, do you? <PLONK>
