I had to use a piece of crap called Wvdial. In Windows it took about 3 seconds to get connected, whereas in SuSE with Wvdial it took about 30 seconds. I decided to get an internal ISDN adapter, and it turned out to be the right choice. But of course, I still wonder why SuSE is so much in love with Wvdial. It cripples the fine performance of the Eicon Diva T/A ISDN Modem. I'm very pleased with my AsusCom ISDN-Link internal adapter.
