[SLE] Eicon Diva T/A ISDN on Suse 6.3
Hello all. Does anyone have any experience with installing this or any other ISDN modem on Suse. I've tried using the 'Integrate Hardware in System' menu in YAST without success. I've also tried using minicom as suggested at the manufacturer's website. -Rob -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq

I had to use a piece of crap called Wvdial. In Windows it took about 3 seconds to get connected, whereas in SuSE with Wvdial it took about 30 seconds. I decided to get an internal ISDN adapter, and it turned out to be the right choice. But of course, I still wonder why SuSE is so much in love with Wvdial. It cripples the fine performance of the Eicon Diva T/A ISDN Modem. I'm very pleased with my AsusCom ISDN-Link internal adapter. Cheers, Niels. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
