Since updating to 42.3, I find Konqueror no longer opens to my home directory. I was finally able to get it to the point where it opens to a blank screen, but I still have to click on the home button, to show my home directory? Is there any way to fix this, so that it works properly?
I was disappointed when I started konqueror in 42.3 at first it didn't start because the command I had placed in the menu item was: konqueror --open-session fmngr where fmngr was a session saved with konqueror as I wanted it. After a bit of poking around I ended up copying ~/.kde4/share/apps/konqueror contents to: ~/.local/share/konqueror and I could again start konqueror with man and info page bookmarks and in the directory that it always used to start. One disappointment, I no longer had the side panel just an empty white space. Hope this helps.
