List,
Probably a silly question, but before I did it and ended up driving if I'm wrong, I though I would ask. So, is it OK to umount and mount /home over a ssh link? If so, how do I first set it as read-only so all files close before I unmount it? The partition is on /dev/sdb1. Thanks
Oops, sorry, it would help to know what I'm trying to do. I need to unmount home change the 'acl' mount option to 'noacl' and remount the partition. I have some program at the office that is now setting acl after samba upgrade to samba-3.2.4-0.1.130. Again, thanks! -- David C.
