uname -r or uname -a confirms that SJDS is running kernel 2.4.19-4GB-athlon (i686)
Just so you are not confused in the future, SJDS does -not- run the kernel. It is running on top of the kernel which provides the environment.
Not confused, but agree. I should have expressed it more precisely :)
uname -r will show the running kernel uname -a shows all information
cat /etc//etc/SuSE-release will show the current release you are running.
