I don't think most of us know what a "user's forum" is. We are happy with the mailing list. If you want to start a "user's forum"--whatever that is--I don't think you will find any complaint on this list. Maybe you will find joiners. Maybe it will even be useful, who knows? (I hope that you are not real p.o.'d at us for not having one of these, but I guess we mostly think we don't need it.) --doug At 14:22 05/10/2002 -0700, Charles Griffin wrote:

I was wondering if SuSE had a users forum like the one set up for Mandrake users at www.mandrakeuser.org and the one for gentoo at forums.gentoo.org?
I don't know, what's a "users forum"?

What, is that a joke? I take it from your helpful response that the answer is no.
Jeez, as a Linux newbie considering a move to SuSE, I thought that was a legitimate question. Discussion forums are much better than mailing lists or usenet, IMHO.
Sorry for such an asinine question. Guess I'll just have to look elsewhere for another distribution if that's the kind of attitude I'll find on this mailing list.
