Hi,
After thinking it over I've decided to make this question.
How on earth to get correct vga mode in 11.0? Booting is like SuSE 5.x or 6.x, not in supervga mode. When I had the related issues with grub install (fortunately already solved), I saw it was possible to enable vga modes for 1280x1024, 793 or 804; but in yast it's not be able to configure it.
Would you please to tell me how can I fix this? I know it's something related to new kernels 2.25.x, but after searching for help over there, I'm still having this problem.
Thanks a lot, Hudibras.
I think you are looking for yast2 bootloader under yast2 controlcentre system menu.
Yes, sure. But yast2 bootloader does not give any help. I cannot reboot my machine and try another hundred of times recognizing the DVD and after boot into rescue system, and so on. My question was if there's a way to configure vga for grub so that it screen appears in vga mode, with splash in console. Do you know what I mean? Thanks for your answer. Hudibras.
