In KDE4, konsole has profiles instead. I could not manage with them in 4.1 (the created profiles have not been saved, some profiles were duplicated and so on). 4.2 and 4.3 work better, but still one have to create necessary profiles manually and I still have the profiles duplicated randomly for some reason.
I have never seen this menu and I always install midnight commander. How do you bring that up?
The leftmost item in the main menu bar ("session") or left-click-and hold tabs icon in the lower left corner. I've not done anything special to add the "MC" sessions there. Thinking a bit more about it, probably MC package adds to sessions menu (since I remember I once forgotten mc during installation, so no MC sessions in konsole. I've installed MC and MC sessions were added as well. -- Mark Goldstein -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
