Hello SuSE Folks, during the last boot, my box hung when initializing the ethernet card. As it seemed to be frozen, I tried to reboot, but nothing worked and, as a last resort, I pushed the reset button. As you might guess, I got an fsck during the following boot procedure, and it finaly stopped with the following message : "fsck failed please repair manually and reboot. The root file system is currently mounted read-only. To remount it read-write do: bash# mount -n -o remount,rw / Attention : Only CONTROL-D will reboot the system in this maintenance mode. shutdown or reboot will not work root login:" So, can anyone please explain me how to repair the file system manually ? Thanks in advance. -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/support/faq
