Nixien, I believe you can edit the /etc/securetty file to set which tty's can be used for root access. Check the man page for securetty. To some extent, you can "disable" the keyboard in the sense that this way you can limit the terminals that can be used to log in from. Nitebirdz On Fri, 29 Oct 1999, nixien wrote:
Hi all
Is it possible to disable keyboard temporarily? Has anyone done this before? I would be very appreciate if you could share with your valuable solution or idea on how to go about doing that.
Thanks in advance,
Cheers, Nixien
