Quite right it is. As I encountered the problem I thought I would wait for the new 11.1, and then have the HDD containing 11.0 temporarely connected in the computer, mount it, and then copy what's necessary. As there is only few days untill 11.1, I'll not install RC1. Thanks for your coments. One thing to say is, that doing that one doesn't learn about using the rescue on the DVD. I hope to find a place where the rescue is detailed shwon
True, but sometimes I just need to have my system back up and running. Example, my main desktop had an issue with the updater task/icon on KDE3. I probably could have fixed it, but after having another issue, I just wiped it.
