I am using a speedtouch USB ADSL modem on SuSE 7.3 (previously on 7.1). All is fine, except that I usually lose the connection after two days. I don't really kno if the problem is due to my provider, to pppd or to something else. This is a bit of a problem since I am running a website with dynamic IP redirection. I would really welcome any hints at what is happening. Thanks. fx This is the message I get when the connection is lost: sent [LCP EchoReq id=0xc8 magic=0x5768f8aa] Apr 22 06:30:39 vertigo pppd[4924]: sent [LCP EchoReq id=0xc9 magic=0x5768f8aa] Apr 22 06:31:09 vertigo pppd[4924]: sent [LCP EchoReq id=0xca magic=0x5768f8aa] Apr 22 06:31:39 vertigo pppd[4924]: No response to 4 echo-requests Apr 22 06:31:39 vertigo pppd[4924]: Serial link appears to be disconnected.
