<snip> Not at all. Thunderbird has no way to know how a list is setup. You're a fucking idiot, right? You've got to be shitting me with such a dim-witted reply as that.
IF you know how...let me know how it can be automatically setup for each list.
I suppose a few mouse clicks is just asking too much of your pathetic excuse for an intellect. It's easier for dipshits like you to come to someones home and tell them that the way they have their curtains set up and the towels in their bathrooms is wrong, than to just fix your shit to work with what *YOU* wish to be a part of, right?

You told me it was easyfor users to setup their emails programs to automatically know how each list's preferences for how to respond. Then when I said to demonstrate how easy it was, you tell me that such a request is pathetic and then start saying it's easy for people to walk into people's homes and change their curtains and bathroom decor. What that has to do with Um...are you for real? It is obvious that the current system is confusing for you too, since you took a list discussion, about configure the list and then forget to actually send it to the list. If it was 'so easy', you sure aren't showing it. I asked you for method, and you couldn't do it but went off on a tangent, and then forgot to keep the list discussion on the list. You might want to reconsider your stance of how easy it is for people to do what you are asking vs. having the list-sw do it automatically. Also, FWIW, you said that a few mouse clicks was 'too much to ask', yet it is *LESS than that*, that has caused this whole "discussion": with the list SW setup the way it is, some people seem very put out at having to press 1-click to delete an extra copy of an email discussion they are a part of. You think that what you are asking is only a few clicks -- but that a few clicks should be 'fine', yet the whole issue is about those who can't even handle 1 click. I suggested a method to allow for zero clicks and am getting flamed for it.
