Because they broke internal wires, probably using the staple gun to push it into the corner. Had the done that by hand it would have not been a problem. Their post installation test with a cable tester would have found that issue in 10 seconds. Bending was actually a problem in coax because it was radio waves traveling down the cable, and signal strength would diminish after the bends.
