Mac OS X isn't. Just ask for the Mac OS X driver. It will be a ppd file which you can load in YaST2.
I also meant various client programs that could remotely control the printer. For instance office printers like Canon GP335 can perform more than just duplex printing but I don't know how to use these additional features from Linux. -- A.M.
