I did the same steps since the first time.
But I got this error message :
"
Sie haben einen Fehlerhaften Registriercode angegeben
"
Well, I called the SuSE support by phone and they
confused about that.
Schei Produkte, How can a such expensive product has
been forgot by the its vendor self?
Do you know what SuSE Linux Enterprise Server is? it
is only SuSE 8.0 and even less than that.
Too expensive, old software, buggy, missing
Registration code etc.
Well... SuSE should make a detail content list of SuSE
Enterprise Server 8 on the web, what and which
version, so nobody will buy this stupid package
(product).
I wish my money back. I called the customer service
and tell all of my business partners, customers, and
my business connections.
I have enough. It's a trick.
Thank you for you advise, Ron. I appreciate your help.

Prabu,
When you created your account on portal.suse.com, you registered your copy of SLES-8. You cna either use the pwd that you set up for your portal account, or within the portal set up other registered usernames to use for upgrades.
Let me know if you still are having problems.
Ron
