I (sort of) know the problem now. The recorder gives the option to edit the recording before finalising the disc. If I edit the recording then nothing in Linux (that I've tried so far) will read it. I get the menu but when I select a title I just get error messages stating that the source can't be read. If I record something and do not edit anything except rename the disc and title then normally it will play in Linux.
Then I think you need to talk with the chaps that makes the linux software and really know how the insides work. At least, an specialized forum or mail list. - -- Cheers, Carlos E.
