| device with YaST. Just add a new interface eth0:0 and configure it as

Yast is cool if you like GUIs and like to be spoon fed.
For IP aliasing, obviously it should occur after the network card has been
set up (eth1, eth2, etc) up and before routing. You can write an rc script
and set the K & S links in the appropriate /sbin/init.d/rc?.d/ directories.
I have such a script if anyone is interested. It was a quick hack; most
things are hardcoded in it.
