Agreed, we cannot become lazy and complacent like these Web site developers.
We must vote with out feet if necessary.
Lord, if for no other reason, we need to stop these damn viruses which
IE/Outlook/IIS encourage (I am tired of getting hundreds of nimda and code red
entries in my firewall log, although I could then have fun with their machines).

Unfortunately, it seems MS has caught on to this, and many sites don't check the id string anymore, they have a test to see if some IE specific javascript class or other is present, and that seems to be good enough to block konqi regardless of "Browser identification".
But I agree, changing banks it the best policy. Lost custom is something any commercial company pays good attention to
