The longer you wait, the longer it takes. I did this on an old laptop about this time last month, upgraded from 11.3 to 13.1 using the DVD then did online update. The next day I saw that the updates amounted to more than had been on the DVD to start with! For my desktop, that had accumulated over months, but for this it came all at once. My ISP complained that I had taken most of my monthly allocation ... well it wasn't all in that update, it was near the end of the month anyway.
