I have a couple of encrypted filesystems on my system. One is an LV, the other is a file. (I don't have any virtual disks). I don't see anything in YaST Partitioner's indexing about encryption, but I notice that in all the tables there is a column labelled Enc[rypted] and that when I start to create a new LV I am offered the option of encrypting it.
So perhaps encryption has become more mainstream and is incorporated in the normal workflow? Have you actually tried to achieve the result you want by following the existing workflow?
I do not want to encrypt an entire partition, nor a logical volume that contains partitions. Rather I want to create an encrypted image file within the home partition, that I can mount as a directory within my home. That is what "Crypt Files" does. It should be part of the existing workflow, as the manual indicates. -- Carlos F Lange Gaúcho nas Pradarias https://www.google.com/+CarlosFLange -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
