I'm burning CD # 1 right now...<sigh> thank you for the reply, the next time I can play a CD and mount and umount the cdrecorder I'll be trying a new blank. peace. Just something I always have to watch out for: Do you wait for the "seek light" to stop blinking after you insert the blank cd?
It takes awhile for the cd-drive to recognize and accept the media after you insert it. Drives are all different, but most blink a front panel light until it is satisfied. For me it can take up to 10 seconds.
Another thing, is dirty blanks, bad blanks, or "wrong speed rating" for the blanks.
