What's the "Tumblweed installer"?
This is either the NET.iso or the plain linux+initrd from the install media. https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/iso/openSUSE-Tumbleweed-NET-x86_64-... Copy the two files below to a new /boot/tw/ directory and create /boot/grub2/custom.cfg: menuentry 'TW' { insmod gzio linux /boot/tw/linux upgrade=1 initrd /boot/tw/initrd } https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/boot/x86_64/loader/linux https://download.opensuse.org/tumbleweed/repo/oss/boot/x86_64/loader/initrd
Is there some way to make zypper access a repository without using the /usr/lib64/libproxy.so.1 ?
rpm -Uvh --oldpackage http://... will work as well.
Pay attention to the bootloader settings in case a non-standard setup has to be used. Such as?
Whatever is needed for the system in question. If TW is the only installed OS the proposal is most likely alright. Olaf
