Is there a stable 2.6.20 kernel for openSuse 10.2, and has anyone had any good/bad experience with it?
I'm usinsg 2.6.20.2-67-default provided by openSUSE at
http://software.opensuse.org/download/Kernel:/HEAD/openSUSE_10.2/
What is the meaning of the /HEAD/ in that url.
That this is the source tree where the suse/novell developers add their new stuff, import from kernel.org etc. It's the kernel that is on its way to the next version
I note that in that same tree there are debian kernels. What's THAT all about?
Did you totally miss what the build service is all about? It is a generic build service, capable of building packages for many distros, not just opensuse. In the downloads you'll find packages for opensuse, debian, red hat, mandriva etc. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org For additional commands, e-mail: opensuse+help@opensuse.org
