I have hacked a couple of methods to do this, (ip aliasing at boot) but I would like to know what the preferred location and syntax is to get ip aliasing set up at boot. Not that I plan to reboot, but..
No need to reboot. You can set up additional IP aliases for one network device with YaST. Just add a new interface eth0:0 and configure it as usual... My RedBook has a chapter on doing things like this using YaST :) Bye, LenZ -- ------------------------------------------------------------------ Lenz Grimmer SuSE GmbH mailto:grimmer@suse.de Schanzaeckerstr. 10 http://www.suse.de/~grimmer 90443 Nuernberg, Germany -- To unsubscribe send e-mail to suse-linux-e-unsubscribe@suse.com For additional commands send e-mail to suse-linux-e-help@suse.com Also check the FAQ at http://www.suse.com/Support/Doku/FAQ/
