That will slowly change. HP have already announced that they are going to release Printer drivers for Linux. Its goingt o get a lot better as the apps on the platform mature. However I found that in Linux it gives the reins of power over to you to pretty much make the enviroment the way you want it to be too. In Windows, no such luck. Well said Eric!! I mean windows is slower and it crashes more but...in Linux you can't get anything working without spending days on it I mean...I still have a problem with my scsi emulator. And on windows you get the drivers but on Linux there are no drivers for many things(hp DeskJet 720c, Mustek scanner[LPT1], hp cd-writer plus 9200 [not scsi]..)

P.S that's why I have a dual boot system(when it has to go fast I take Linux. When it's something like printing colour or burning or scanning I take win98)
