Just before I go delve further into the automount options - does anyone happen to know if I can have autofs only mount certain mountpoints, and not others? For instance, given the directory: /var/lib/capitals/ I would like to have /var/lib/capitals/oslo auto-mounted but not /var/lib/capitals/copenhagen. The reason being - "/var/lib/capitals/copenhagen" is local, "/var/lib/capitals/oslo" is remote. I've tried creating /var/lib/capitals/copenhagen before starting automount, but this produces this funny situation: calcium:/var/lib/capitals # ls -l $PWD/copenhagen ls: cannot access /var/lib/capitals/copenhagen: No such file or directory calcium:/var/lib/capitals # l total 0 drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 0 Sep 24 11:33 ./ drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 0 Sep 24 11:33 ../ dr-xr-xr-x 2 root root 0 Sep 24 11:33 copenhagen/ -- Per Jessen, Zürich (12.7°C) http://www.hostsuisse.com/ - dedicated server rental in Switzerland. -- To unsubscribe, e-mail: opensuse+unsubscribe@opensuse.org To contact the owner, e-mail: opensuse+owner@opensuse.org
