When you have the PCI card plugged in, and you've selected it in the BIOS by turning off the on-board graphics, can you then boot into run level 3 OK? I'm assuming you can, cause that's how you're able to try the various SaX2 commands. I just want to be certain... when you've tapped the "3" key at the boot menu while SuSE 9.3 Professional is highlighted, after you do that, you can get into run level 3 OK? - Carl
