The Boss wants to record some streaming audio from the Beeb (BBC) and then burn it to disk. IIRC there's a way to do this in Linux, but I don't have the foggiest idea. Any suggestions or ideas? BTW it's a 10.0 system
MPlayer will do this very nicely. IIRC, something like: mplayer [URL] -dumpstream -dumpfile [filename] I've found this works very nicely for BBC files (usually RealAudio).
