Hi people!
This morning I'm very confuse. I really don't know what to do. I read a lot of threads on the list about suse 8.0 and I don't know if it will work and if I must keep it. I ordered SuSe Update 8.0 and I will receive it this morning. Is it possible to return it, I bought it from SuSe? I like the products that suse do and I use it for a while but I ask me if it's not better to keep 7.3 with the lot of bugs that 8.0 seems to have. Someone can help me to decide and tell me what you think? Another side of me tell me to try it because it's probably the best that I have. Also, I want to try KDE 3. So is there really a lots of big bugs in 8.0 or if it is ok? just minor bugs? It still have something I must learn to be happy with linux but these questions are for other threads.
Thanks for your help
Hi Martin et al....
First of all, most people have little or no problems with Linux or SuSE at all. Your (and mine) big problem is that reading this list you think "Oh God! everyone is having problems!". Well, that's not true. The guys on this list are all (or for the most part) pushing the bleeding edge of Linux. At that edge you will have problems. If all you want to do is run Linux and have fun, SuSE is the best for that. I promise you that for 9 out of 10 problems that you have the answer will be that you need to learn something. And this list is the best (and cheapest) school you can be in.
