[09-10-04 05:18]: Having got my desktop at work up to 9.1, I'm now using k3b to burn cds. It works well.
But in sending a CD to a Windows user, where I am seeing filenames as I recorded them under linux:
halliwell-phillipps_no_1311_recto.tif
But I'm getting:
HALLIWELL-PHILLIPPS_NO_1000.TIF
I believe that you need to include 'joliet' extension for windoz to understand the file names.
Thanks Patrick - yes, that's what I would expect. According to k3b, though, it's supposed to be set up to call mkisofs with joliet-long already set.
No, I was wrong, you need to tick a check box by clicking on the 'burn' button and then selecting the 'Filesystem' tab, where there's a 'Generate Joliet extensions' option. Sorry to all, should have seen that. Fergus
I'll see if I can sort it out, Best Fergus
note: shooting from the hip here, but that works for me.
