jetzt wär interessant was ein fdisk -l als root ausgeführt liefert
so wie ich das sehe ist dein stick wahrscheinlich als /dev/sda verfügbar.
Gemeint ist wohl "fdisk -l /dev/sda" für den Fall, dass dein usb-stick /dev/sda ist. Notfalls mach mal ein less /proc/partitions. Dann sieht man schonmal ob der Kernel überhaupt was von dem Teil weiß. mfg Axel
