Why are these strings showed/sent for us translating?

therad++ As Alberto already suggested in another therad, I think we should have a general discussion about how the things are done. (I'm not sure if on this mailinglist or on another) From my point of view it would help if we really branch out the openSUSE releases, having hard freezes for code and translation. In my opinion this is the only way to go to get a high quality product! Of course we can always try to bring in the latest this and that, but even so called "fixes" can introduce new bugs. There might be some (more or less) "improvements" but the current tendency is harmful to the overall impression: - Lower interface quality - More bugs in the 'stable' release version - Unneccessary/Double/wasted translation work frustrates translators As I see it (open)SUSE wants to become more and more bleeding edge: Pushing unfinished software like KDE 4 and OpenOffice.org 3 into (commercial enterprise) products, this is unacceptable and harms the image of (((open)Suse) Linux).
