[opensuse-translation-es] Re: software.opensuse.org/123/es issues

Hi.
There are some links in the spanish version of http://software.opensuse.org/123 that could point to their spanish version instead of the english one:
I updated the the translations in the opensuse i18n svn and deployed the changes. The link to the release notes for 12.3 are not still working (English version at the moment) because the pot file is outdated. I will fix it. The other suggested translations are all in place now. Thanks for reporting. I'm sending the mail also to the opensuse-translation-es mailing list, just to inform them. Surely, the translation team is the right place to ask if you find more untranslated links. Sure they will appreciate your help... and you can also join the team, of course. Saludos
- The link to Release Notes should point to the spanish version (https://www.suse.com/releasenotes/i386/openSUSE/"openSUSE versión"/RELEASE-NOTES.es.html). It isn't fully translated, but it is better than nothing
- The link to http://en.opensuse.org/OpenSUSE_License is incorrect/broken. It should point to https://en.opensuse.org/openSUSE:License
- The link to http://en.opensuse.org/Derivatives should point to https://es.opensuse.org/Derivados
- The link to http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Network_installation should point to https://es.opensuse.org/SDB:Instalar openSUSE desde la red
- The link to https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Documentation should point to https://es.opensuse.org/Portal:Documentación. If you wanted I could create the page https://es.opensuse.org/Portal:Documentation in the spanish wiki with a redirection to the correct one (even though that I'm not fond of redirections, XD)
- The link to https://en.opensuse.org/Firefox should point to https://es.opensuse.org/Mozilla Firefox
- And, finaly, the link to http://en.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick should point to http://es.opensuse.org/Live_USB_stick
For the remaining links there isn't yet a translated version in the spanish wiki. I think I don't forget anything...
Thansk in advance.
Greetings.

Please, if you update the .pot file and want it translated, please tell us. Here is just fine. :-)

Thanks. I translated part of RELEASE-NOTES-openSUSE.es.po, not all. Maybe you talk of "software-opensuse-org.es.po"? IIRC, on the part I did, I left the links in English because the Spanish ones are empty or do not exist.
- The link to Release Notes should point to the spanish version (https://www.suse.com/releasenotes/i386/openSUSE/"openSUSE versión"/RELEASE-NOTES.es.html). It isn't fully translated, but it is better than nothing Right. Should be:
https://www.suse.com/releasenotes/i386/openSUSE/12.3/RELEASE-NOTES.es.html However, the target page (the release notes) is obsolete and wrong, it does not have the version I translated because my name is not in the credits as last translator. Gabriel translated most of it, he is listed. If I do not appear, I do not know what else is missing, thus when you say that it isn't fully translated means that our job was not uploaded. You see that it is different...

Actually, I think it should point to <https://es.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Licencia> or <https://es.opensuse.org/openSUSE:License>. Neither exist. The "in other languages" block of the English page does not list Spanish, so the translator could not write the correct link. In fact, I do not know where the Spanish license is. I think I recall somebody translating it some time ago.
- The link to http://en.opensuse.org/Derivatives should point to https://es.opensuse.org/Derivados
Right.
- The link to http://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Network_installation should point to https://es.opensuse.org/SDB:Instalar openSUSE desde
la red Right.
However, the Spanish link in <https://en.opensuse.org/SDB:Network_installation> points to <http://es.opensuse.org/SDB:Instalaci%C3%B3n_en_red>, which does not exist.
- The link to https://en.opensuse.org/Portal:Documentation should

The English page points to the translation at <https://es.opensuse.org/SDB:Live_USB_stick>, which does exist, but has not been updated since 11.3 (same as the English version). The Spanish version is worse, it tells to use isohybrid, which is not valid for 12.2 or 12.3. - -- Cheers / Saludos, Carlos E. R. He sacado a admin@opensuse.org del cc, ya que la parte que respecta a "ellos" ya está resuelta. Ahora es una cuestión de traducciones. On 06/04/2013 12:52 PM, Carlos E. R. wrote:

Actually, I think it should point to <https://es.opensuse.org/openSUSE:Licencia> or <https://es.opensuse.org/openSUSE:License>. Neither exist. The "in other languages" block of the English page does not list Spanish, so the translator could not write the correct link.

¿Has sido tu? ¿Y también has cambiado la inglesa a la SDB? Contro, que rápido trabajas. :-o De todos modos, supongo que lo correcto es apuntar a la página que realmente existe, aunque sea antigua - no sea que alguien vaya ahí y empiece a escribir al verla vacía. - -- Saludos Carlos E.R. -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2.0.18 (GNU/Linux) iEYEARECAAYFAlGt1vAACgkQtTMYHG2NR9W2AACfc4HcHPANVyOrQAykgkpwL5X5 XqMAn0JpiltzqkXnOix6wG1iQzFVOQ6B =stg/ -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
