Yes, that's what Sasi said.
Oh, I must have missed his reply.
robin.listas@telefonica.net is my ISP, and carlos.e.r@opensuse.org redirects to my ISP. That would be the duplicates, yes.
But I do not see any references to "carlos.e.r@opensuse.org" or the redirection, I have no way to know which is which. That's the problem.
Your opensuse.org address is mapped to your telefonica address. The map just says "deliver carlos@opensuse to carlos@telefonica". That mapping is not logged or recorded anywhere.
Looking at my procmail recipe, the difference was:
* ^Original-Recipient: rfc822;(carlos.e.r@opensuse.org|groupwise-carlos.e.r@opensuse.org)
Based on the groupwise reference, I guess this stems back to when SUSE was owned by Novell?
but now there is none. Different path, but no reference to the alias. I had not noticed this issue, but it has been there for some time.
Probably since August 2020 when we switched over to our own mailservers. I also have a few aliases delivered to my account "per@jessen.ch". To distinguish them, to direct them into separate local accounts, I use an extension - per@address1 -> per+address1@jessen.ch per@address2 -> per+address2@jessen.ch per@address3 -> per+address3@jessen.ch etc -- Per Jessen, Zürich (13.9°C)
