How do you change the hostname of the computer?
YaST, Network module. There were a number of possible places to change HOSTNAME and I did so.
There is only one where I told you. Look, in my machine:

I've tried to keep a record, but it may not be perfect. At any rate, when I open a terminal, it shows doug@linux1, which is what I expected, and the admin screen shows linux1:/home/doug # and appears to function OK, so I hope all is copacetic. Thanx--doug
